Auto-power feature
To save battery power, the DO-100 shuts off automatically (Auto-Power Off) if
none of the keys is pressed for a period of 10 min. To deactivate this function
press „REC. MAX./MIN." until „REC" appears on the display.
RS-232 Interface
The DO-100 has an RS-232 interface. The interface adapter is available
optionally. The RS-232 interface is located under a flap on the right-hand side
(viewed from the front) of the device.
The DO-100 outputs a 16-digit data stream, the format is 9600, N, 8, 1.
The 16-digit data stream has the following format:
D15 D14 D13 D12 D11 D10 D9 D8 D7 D6 D5 D4 D3 D2 D1 D0
Each digit represents the following status:
D0
D1 to D8
D9
D10
D11 & D12
D13
D14
D15
16
End word
Indicated measured value, D1 LSD, D8 MSD;
example: display 1234, then D8 to D1 is: 00001234
Decimal point (DP), position from left to right;
0 = no DP, 1 =1 DP, 2 = 2 DP, 2 = 3 DP
Polarity; 0 = positive, 1 = negative
Display of measuring range; °C = 01; °F = 03, O_ = 06,
mg/ = 07
If the top measured values are indicated = 1
If the lower measured values are indicated = 2
