Press TIME (9) for approx. 2 seconds to toggle the time
between the 24-hour and 12-hour clock. When the 12-hour
clock is in use, AM or PM also appears in the display.
- Daylight saving time
Press and hold TIME (9) and then press
(8) twice. The + 1h
display appears and the clock is put forward an hour (summer
time). Repeat the steps to change to winter time.

Programming the timer

The timer has room for 20 programs. A switch-on time "ON"
and a switch-off time "OFF" can be set for each program. A
program can be set for individual weekdays or predefi ned
blocks of days.
The following blocks of days can be set:
MO to SU (whole week)/MO to SU (individual days)/MO to FR,
SA to SU, MO to SA, MO + WE + FR, TU + TH + SA, MO to
WE, TH to SA.
It's a good idea to write down the programs you wish to set
beforehand; this will make them easier to input.
Please note that if no entry is made within 10 seconds, the
timer will revert to the normal time display. Any information
already entered will be stored.
To enter programming mode, press
(7) once. "PROG" will
appear and "1 ON" will fl ash. The switch-on information for
program 1 is shown. If the data block is empty, --:-- will appear
instead of the time and all the weekdays will be shown.
- Press SET (4) once to start setting the weekday/block of days.
- Use button
(7) or
(8) to set the day of the week/select
the block of days.
- Briefl y press SET (4) again and the hour display will fl ash.
- Use button
(7) or
(8) to set the hour.
- Briefl y press SET (4) again and the minute display will fl ash.
- Use button
(7) or
(8) to set the minute.
- Briefl y press SET (4) again and the program number will
fl ash.
- Briefl y press
(7) to display the switch-off information for
program 1.
Here you can program the switch-off time for program 1 by

using the same procedure you used when programming the
switch-on time.
- For example:
The timer needs to turn on at 16:00 from Monday to Friday
and off at 22:00. This will be programmed as program 1.
- Press

- Press TIME (9) 1 x: programming mode is exited and the
time is displayed.
- Deleting/disabling
Individual programs can be overwritten or disabled. For
instructions on how to overwrite see: "Programming the timer".
To disable a program, press OVER (6) in programming mode.
The set time is replaced with --:--. Disabled programs can be
re-enabled by pressing OVER (6) again in programming mode.

Countdown function

The timer counts down from a preset length of time (up to 24
hours). The timer is connected while the countdown is running.
- Setting the time for the countdown
Press
(7) once to access the setting. Then press SET (4) to
set the countdown time to the exact minute (same procedure
as for setting the time).
- Starting the countdown
To start the countdown, press CTD (5) once you have fi nished
programming. The timer will now count down to 0:00:00 and
then switch the socket off. While the countdown is running,
you can press TIME (9) to display the time for 2 seconds; the
countdown continues to run in the background. To interrupt
the countdown, press CTD (5); this will turn the socket off and
stop the time. Press again to continue the countdown and the
socket will be turned back on. If the countdown is paused for
longer than 10 seconds, it will be permanently cancelled. All
other programs are disabled duringthe countdown.
Once the countdown has ended the socket will only switch on
with the next ON program.

Random function

Press RND (3) to enable or disable the random function. This
is confi rmed by the RND display. The random function means
that set programs can be varied by 0 to 30 minutes before or
after their preset time.
