Getting Started and Operation
• Place the mini tower ventilator on a level, stable, and suffi ciently large area.
• Connect the circular plug on the enclosed wall plug transformer to the corresponding socket
on the fan's stand. Then, plug the wall plug transformer into an appropriate mains socket.
• Using the on/off key (5), the mini tower fan can be activated (power LED (A) lights up) or
deactivated.
• By repeatedly pressing the fan speed button (6), the fan speed, and thus the air fl ow rate, can
be selected in in 3 stages.
The corresponding LED (B, C or D) lights up.
• If you want the upper part of the mini tower fan to rotate and thus improve the distribution
of the air fl ow in the room, you can activate the oscillator function (LED (E) lights up) using
button (7).
Maintenance and Cleaning
Maintenance or repairs may only be performed by qualifi ed personnel or a specialised repair
shop. The product contains no parts that require servicing. Therefore, do not open/dismantle it.
Use a clean, dry, soft cloth for cleaning. Do not apply too much pressure on the housing, this
could result in scratch marks.
Dust can easily be removed using a clean long-haired brush and a vacuum cleaner.
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents, cleaning alcohol or other chemical solutions,
since these could damage the housing or even impair operation.
Handling
• Only use in dry indoor locations. The product must not get damp or wet! Use of the
wall plug transformer involves the risk of a potentially fatal electric shock!
• Never use the product immediately after it has been taken from a cold room to
a warm one. The condensation that forms might destroy your unit. The wall plug
transformer also poses a risk for a potentially fatal electric shock!
Allow the product to reach room temperature, before connecting it to the power
supply and putting it in to use. This may take several hours.
• Any maintenance or repair work may only be performed by an authorised repair
shop.
• Check the product for damage before each use!
If any damage is found, the product must not be used.
A safe operation can no longer be assumed, if:
- the product shows visible signs of damage,
- the product does not function or does not function properly (e.g. burning smell,
fumes)
- the product was stored under unfavourable conditions
• When setting up the product, make sure that the cables are neither kinked nor
pinched.
• Avoid the following adverse conditions at the installation location and during trans-
portation:
- Damp or excess air humidity
- Extreme cold or heat
- Dust or fl ammable gases, fumes or solvents
- Strong vibrations
• If the product is not to be used for some time (e.g. during storage), unplug the wall
plug transformer.
Disposal
Dispose of an unserviceable product in accordance with the relevant statutory regu-
lations.
