Assembly instructions of the MM V2 cartridges:
Before mounting the cartridge the plastic stylus guard should be leaved on the cartridge. Mount the
cartridge using the supplied mounting hardware without over-tightening to allow final adjustment later.
Please be very careful at mounting!
Electrical connections (rear view):
At the rear of the cartridge there are terminal pins for the left and right channels.
Connect the tonearm wires to the cartridge terminal pins as follows:

Left output (L+)

Left ground

Right output (R+)

Right ground
Attention:
Never braze the tonearm wires to the cartridge terminal pins as this could permanently damage the internal
circuits and your warranty will be void! Only use original cartridge connectors! If your tonearm wiring is not
fitted with these or if they are damaged they are available from your local dealer
(eg. clearaudio cartridge-connectors: Art.-Nr.: CO 011).

shown in the data sheet. Incorrect tracking force will lead to distortion and could seriously
damage both stylus and record.
When stylus overhang and anti-skating are precisely adjusted the cartridge can be finally
tightened into final position.
Maintenance:
 Always clean your records before playing.
 Regularly clean the stylus with an appropriate cleaning fluid. This should be available at your
white
dealer (eg. clearaudio cleaning fluid: Art.-Nr.: AC 003).
blue
 Have the stylus checked after approximately 500 hours. Damaged or worn diamond tip can
red
cause permanent damage to your records.
green
Stylus replacement:
After approximately 2000 hours of use (or earlier if you suspect excessive use) the stylus should
be replaced.
Caution: Never try to remove the stylus assembly yourself! For replacement contact your local
dealer.
