• The liquid to be pumped (rain, tap or well water) must be as clean as possible. If necessary use an
appropriate filter. Impurities (e.g. sand, earth, leaves etc.) cause higher wear, thus reducing the life
span of the pump, in addition to the possibility of a mechanical blockage of the pump.
• Before disconnecting the pump from the hoses, open the pressure side with precaution (open the
connected water tap) to allow the pump pressure to escape. Otherwise, water escapes in sudden
bursts from the joints when, for ex., you remove the pressure hose.
• If the pump should be used for domestic water supply, then the local regulations of the water and
sewage authorities must be taken into consideration. Furthermore, the provisions of DIN1988 must
be observed. In case of doubt, ask a specialist.
The product is not suitable for the conveyance of drinking water.
If necessary, ask a specialized plumbing workshop.
• When the product is brought from a cold into a warm room (e.g. during transport) condensation may
form. There is the risk of a life-threatening electric shock!
This is why you should always let the product get to room temperature before you use it or connect
it to the mains voltage. This can sometimes take several hours.
• Check the product before each use for damages, e.g. of the housing, the gaskets and the power cord/
mains plug.
If you notice any damages, the product must not be used. Repair of the damaged power cord is not
authorized! There is the risk of a life-threatening electric shock!
If the product is already connected to the mains voltage, switch off the corresponding power socket
(e.g. disconnect the automatic circuit breaker) then remove the plug from the power socket.
Afterwards, the product must no longer be used, bring it to a specialist workshop.
Repair or maintenance work must be carried out by a specialist!
• Use the device only in moderate climate regions and not in tropical climate.
• Do not leave packaging material unattended. It might become a dangerous toy for children!
