7. If the drive letter assignment window is displayed, click OK to continue.
8. Click Finish to complete the Setup. Restart your computer and your ImageMate will be
ready for use when connected.
Software Installation for Macintosh Users
(USB only)
WARNING: Before you remove the Flash Media memory card, be sure to
ALWAYS drag the Flash Media card icon to the trash. Once the Flash Media card
icon has been placed in the trash, you will be prompted to remove the media.
1. Insert the Installation CD into the CD-ROM drive. Double click on the SanDisk ImageMate
USB icon to open the Installation CD.
2. Double click on the SanDisk ImageMate Installer icon.
3. You will be prompted to read a warning message reminding you to never remove media
from the ImageMate until you have dragged the SanDisk ImageMate "untitled" volume icon
to the trash. Click Continue to proceed with the installation.
4. After the installation files have been copied to the hard drive, click Restart to complete the
installation. Remove the installation CD. You can now install the ImageMate onto your com-
puter system.

USB Hardware Installation
(Windows and Macintosh)
Once your computer restarts and the Windows or Macintosh desktop reappears, simply connect
the ImageMate's USB cable into one of your computer's available USB ports.
NOTE: The USB ImageMate is a high-powered USB device and is not supported
on Macintosh keyboard ports. However, all self-powered USB ports and hubs are
supported.
Using Your ImageMate
Your ImageMate works just like a floppy disk. After inserting the Flash Media card into the
ImageMate, you can drag, drop, copy and paste files as you normally would.
NOTE TO IMAGEMATE SMARTMEDIA AND MULTIMEDIACARD
USERS: Be sure to insert the Flash Media card into the ImageMate with the gold
contacts facing down as pictured below.
