Positioning the hands
If the hands do not agree with the time displayed digitally, positioning must be per-
formed manually. This step is also necessary after a battery replacement.
Press button B (2) for longer than 5 seconds.
• The hands begin to run, and the indicator in the display flashes 00:00.
• To move the hands manually, press button A (1).
The hands will stop now.
If you press button A (1) briefly, the hands are moved stepwise. If you press a little
longer, the hands begin to run automatically, which you can stop by pressing button
A (1) again.
• When the hands have reached the 12 o'clock position, press button B (2) briefly.
• The watch now starts a reception attempt.
• The watch automatically sets itself to the correct time after successful reception.
Setting the Time Manually
If time signal reception is not possible, the watch can also be set manually.
However, the precondition is that the 12 o'clock positioning of the hands has been
performed correctly (see "Positioning the hands").
Press button B (2) for approx. 2 seconds.
• Set the mode for the summer time change with button A (1):
AUTO = automatic change for summer/winter time
ON = manual setting for summer time on
OFF = manual setting for summer time off
• Press button B (2) again and set the hours using the push-button (A).
• Proceed as described above to set the minutes, the seconds, the year, the month
and the date.
• Button B (2) is used to select the value to be adjusted, and the corresponding value
can be changed with button A (1).
• Finally, press button B (2) to save the settings and to return to the normal display
mode.
• The hands run automatically to the set time.
Display reading
• The time is normally shown in the display.
• Press button A (1) to show the date and month.
• Press button A (1) again to show the seconds and the weekday.
• Press button A (1) again to show the set time zone.
• Press button A (1) again to return to the time display.
• The DST symbol (5) appears in the display during summer time.
Changing the Batteries
• If a battery symbol is shown in the display (7), the battery has to be replaced.
• Replacing the battery should be done by a specialist, using special clockmaker tools
and professional knowledge.
• To replace the battery, the back of the casing is removed.
• The battery can then be removed from its holder and be replaced.
Restart after Replacing the Battery
• After a battery change, the 00:00 indication will flash in the display.
• Position the hour and minute hands to the 12:00 position, as described in "Position-
ing the hands".
• The watch now performs a reception attempt and will set itself to the correct time,
after successful reception.
Maintenance and cleaning
The product does not require any maintenance and should never be disassembled for
any reason.
Please use a soft, dry, clean cloth for cleaning.
Do not use aggressive detergents as these can cause discolouration of the case.
Shock Resistance
In normal use, the wristwatch is protected against shocks. Nevertheless, do not ex-
pose the device to extreme shocks such as might occur if e.g. the device falls onto
a hard surface. This may damage the clockwork or the position of the hands may be
changed (Positioning the hands is described earlier in this manual).
