6. Function selection

You can choose between two operating functions using the selector
switch : (a) Chime function

(b) Paging function

used as normal radio-controlled chimes, i.e. you can install the door
bell system without having to lay any cables. The radio-controlled
chimes can be used upon completion of coding (see text no. 4) and
installation of the transmitter (fastening materials are included with

Paging function:
If the selector switch (5) is set to position (b), you can use the radio
chimes set as pager. Press the transmitter  and the selected signal
type is activated for 2 minutes. This function is ideal in order to call
over a person who is some way away even if that person's attenti-
on is not directed at the receiver  at the time it is activated. The
transmitter  is mobile or can be installed at a point which is easy
to reach. The person being paged can also be moving freely within
a range of up to 50m when it is activated (see text. no. 10). The
paging function can be stopped prematurely by pressing the reset
function .

Naturally, you can also use all signal types (chimes, flashlight or

7. Integration into an existing door bell system

The radio-controlled chimes are suitable for integration into an exi-
sting door bell system. Two operating formats are available for this:

like to operate the radio-controlled chimes in another room parallel

You have an existing door bell button and would like to operate this

8. Changing the flashlight covers

To change the coloured flashlight cover
receiver and press the selected replacement cover in place in the
four retaining holes.
