SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Specific safety instructions
1. Should the product fall into water, then unplug the power cable from the mains outlet. Do not reach
into the water before the product has been disconnected from the mains supply. Get the product
checked by an expert at this stage.
2. If you are using the product with your hand(s), then always make sure it is turned off for safety
reasons.
3. Make sure that any objects such as hairpins or hair clips do not get inside the product. This may
cause a short circuit or damage to the product.
4. Allow the product to cool down completely before you remove or install any accessories.
5. Do not use sprays or water sprays in close proximity of the product.
6. Risk of burning! Parts of the product may become very hot during operation. Hold the product
therefore only with the handle.
7. Clean the product and all other accessories after each use.
8. Follow the instructions in the chapter Cleaning and care.
Danger of suffocation! Keep all packaging material away from children.
Dispose of the packaging materials in an appropriate way. Contact your local authorities about
collection points or waste separation.
