SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Important safety instructions
• Caution! In order to prevent hazards from unin-
tentional resetting of the protective temperature
limiter, this product must not be powered by an
external switching device such as a timer, or
connected to a circuit which is regularly switched
on and off by a device.
• The iron must not be left unattended while it is
connected to the supply mains.
• Pull the power plug before filling iron with water
or emptying.
• The product must be used on a stable, resist-
ant surface.
• Even once you place the iron in its stand base,
make sure that the surface upon which the iron is
standing is stable and resistant.
• Do not use the product if the power plug, power
cord or the product itself is damaged or if the
product has fallen or if liquid escapes from the
product.
• Keep the iron and its power cord out of reach
of children less than 8 years of age when it is
energized or cooling down.
