MAINTENANCE AND TREATMENT
White painted furniture should be treated where the paint is damaged or worn. Rectify
any such damage as soon as possible to prevent further damage. Here are some tips:
• Wash the furniture with Reflekt sugar soap – outdoors (or an equivalent product from
another manufacturer). This can also be used to remove any algae or similar growth.
Allow the furniture to dry thoroughly.
• If the paint is flaking off, scrape away all loose paint and and rub the area with a fine
sandpaper (grit size 180–240 suitable).
• Then paint with Reflekt primer (or equivalent primer from another manufacturer).
• Then paint with Reflekt window paint outdoors (or equivalent window/wood paint for
external use from another manufacturer).
• Allow the furniture to dry for at least 24 hours before using it again.
• Always follow the instructions on the manufacturer's packaging.
MAINTENANCE OF FRAMES MADE FROM POWDER-LACQUERED STEEL
If there are any scratches/damage on the lacquer, it must be treated immediately to
make sure it does not start to rust. Treat any scratches/damage on the lacquer by first
sandpapering away any rust and removing any paint flakes. Then paint with rust protection
paint for metal in the relevant colour. Always follow the instructions on the paint tin.
RIGHT OF COMPLAINT
By law the product must be returned to the place of purchase along with the original
receipt in the event of a complaint. The user is liable for any damage to the product that
is caused by not using the product for its intended purpose or by not following this user
manual correctly. The right of complaint will not apply in these instances.
INFORMATION ABOUT HAZARDOUS WASTE
Used products should be handled separately from
household waste. They should be taken for recycling in
accordance with local rules for waste management.
