11. CONNECTING THE CAMERA TO THE HELICOPTER

Use the data cable included to connect the
helicopter with the aerial camera.

required to bind the helicopter as
outlined on the previous page.
12. INDEPENDENT USE OF THE DIGITAL CAMERA
Pull out the connecting data cable between the helicopter
and the camera. As the arrows show, irstly use a thumb
to push up the camera latch which holds the camera in
place and then slide it out towards the tail to separate the
camera from the helicopter

Pull the switch to the
left to turn ON the power
By pressing the photograph button, the camera will
receive a transmitted signal indicated by the LED
lashing and take a photograph.
If the photograph button is pressed for more than 1.5
seconds, the LED will glow signifying the activation of
VIDEO mode.
Pressing the photograph button again whilst recording
will FINISH the recording.

Flick the power switch to the "ON" position. The camera LED will lash 3
times and then stop. This means that the camera is ready and in 'Standby
Mode'. You are now able to press the shutter button and take a picture.
Pressing this button will cause the LED to lash once, indicating a picture
has been taken. If you hold down the shutter button for more than 1.5
seconds, the video mode will be activated and a video will start recording.
During the course of recording, if you press the shutter button once more,
the video will stop recording. Should you need to change the date or time,
please modify the 'Time' text document located in the root directory of the
Micro SD card and edit it such that the current date and time are correct.
Please remember that only when the text ile is saved will the date/time be
updated before restarting the camera.
