In order to tighten the belts, the bolts on the motor
must be released. Then displace the motor in the slots
by means of the adjustment screws. Ensure that the
belt pulleys remain in alignment. This can, for example
be checked by holding a straight board against the
pulleys. Remember to tighten the bolts on the motor
again. Never tighten the belts too much in order not to
overload bearings and belts and thereby shorten their
lifetime.
Remember to check that the belts are not worn and
change them if necessary. All belts must be changed
at the same time.

Problem
Poor capacity
Conveying stopped but blower con-
tinues to run
Motor
The motor must not be covered and should be kept
free from dirt, which might reduce cooling down the
motor.

enclosed to the motor.
Cause
Feed not correctly adjusted
Piping incorrectly installed
Rotation direction of blower (or
rotary valve) incorrect
Material being blown into container
with inadequate air outlet
Worn seals in rotary valve
V-belts are too slack or possibly
worn out
Intake regulator shutter cannot
move freely
The feed does not match the
blower
Feed is pointing in wrong direction
Pipe blockage
Rotary valve rotor blocked by impu-
rities in the material
Remedy

Open container to allow air to

Replace seals.
Tighten or replace the V-belts.

The shutter is not released from
start position, or the function of

must be dismantled and emptied
