7. Inserting / replacing batteries

1. Loosen the screw using a Phillips screwdriver and take off the cover of the battery
compartment.
2. Remove the battery holder from the battery compartment.
3. Insert four AA batteries into the battery holder, observing the polarity markings inside the
battery holder bays.
4. Put the battery holder back into the battery compartment, observing the polarity markings on
the top of the battery holder and inside the battery compartment. The protruding flap on the
battery holder should point upward.
5. Put the battery compartment cover on and screw it down using the screw provided and
moderate force.
Replace the batteries when the battery LED is on.

8. Connecting camera

1. Connect the plug of the gooseneck camera to the socket on the base unit. The protruding
metal tongue on the camera's plug should be facing the recess on the front side of the
socket.
2. Slide the screw cap upwards, toward the camera and screw the screw cap counter-clockwise
to fasten the camera.
3. Follow these steps in reverse order when disconnecting the camera from the base unit.

9. Inserting microSD card

To use the photo/video function, you first have to insert a microSD card (not included in delivery).
For this, proceed as follows:
1. Open the cover on the right side of the display.
2. Insert a microSD card into the microSD slot. The contacts of the card have to face toward the
display. The card has to snap into place.
3. Close the cover again.
