CLEANING AND CARE

Attention! Never use alcohol, acetone, gas, aggressive cleaning agents and so on under
any circumstances to clean the plastic parts. Furthermore, do not use any hard brushes or
metallic objects.
1. Attention! Switch the device off each time before cleaning.
2. Clean the glass surface with a slightly damp cloth. Make sure no water penetrates the housing.
3. Wipe the lower area of the scale with a dry cloth.
4. Dry all parts completely after cleaning and before the device is put back into operation.
5. Remove the batteries if you are not going to use device for a longer period of time.
6. Store this device in a dry, cool area protected from dampness and direct sunlight.
7. The scale can be hung by the suspension hole on a suitable hook.

Disposal of old electric devices
The European directive 2012/19/EU for waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE)
states that used household devices should not be disposed of with unsorted community waste.
These used devices must be collected separately from household waste in order to increase
the percentage of recovered devices and to recycle their parts, with the goal of reducing the
negative effects on human health and on the environment. The symbol of the crossed out garbage can
will be stamped onto all devices as a reminder of the obligation to put them in a separate garbage
collection. The consumer must consult local authorities or the vendor to inform themselves about the
manner in which their device should be disposed of.
Dispose of the packaging materials in an appropriate way. Contact your local authorities about
collection points or waste separation.
