BEFORE FIRST USE

• Remove all packing material and check the product and accessories for damages.
• Clean the device as described in Cleaning and Care. Please observe the safety instructions as
well.
Removing the battery protection
The battery is already inserted. Remove the battery stripe protruding from the battery compartment in
order to operate this device for the first time.

INSERTING BATTERIES

1. This device is operated by a button cell battery, type CR2032. The battery is included.
2. Open the battery compartment.
3. Insert a button cell battery, type CR2032 into the battery compartment. Pay attention to the correct
polarity (+/-).
4. Insert the battery cover again until it locks in.
5. Replace the battery at least once per year or, at the latest, when the LCD display shows "Lo". The
"Lo" means that the battery power is low and a battery replacement is necessary.
