Battery replacement

When the battery icon in the display flashes, the battery should be replaced.
• To open the battery cover: Insert a pointed object, such as a pin,
into the battery pick hole. At the same time push the battery cover
backwards.
• Flip out the battery with a small screwdriver.
• Insert the new battery under the metal hook on the left side and
press the right side of the battery down until it clicks into place.
• Replace the battery cover.
! The positive side ( + ) up and the negative ( - )side down.
! Keep the battery away from children.
Trouble shooting
Problem
Er1: Measurement before the devise
is stabilized
Er2: The device shows a rapid room
temperature change.
+
Er.3: The room temperature is not
in the range 0°C to 40°C (50°F to
04°F)
Er: Error 5-9 The system is not
functioning properly
Hi: In Ear mode: The temperature
taken is higher than +4.°C (08°F)
In Scan mode: The temperature
taken is higher than +80°C (76°F)
Lo: In Ear mode: The temperature
taken is lower than +34°C (93.°F)
In Scan mode: The temperature
taken is lower than -°C (-7.6°F)
The device is not able to start
measurement.
Solution
Wait until the icons stop flashing
before measuring.
Allow the thermometer to rest in
a room for at least 30 minutes at
room temperature range 0°C to
40°C (50°F to 04°F).
Remove the battery, wait for 
minute and replace the battery. If
the message reappears, contact
the retailer for service
Please select the target within the
specifications. If the malfunction
still exists, contact the nearest
retailer.
Change to new battery.
