Each memory also records, together with the measurement, the date, time, mode and site location. • When switched on, press the ON/MEM button to recall the temperatures stored with the icon. °C / °F switch: When the thermometer is turned off, the LCD displays the date, time and room temperature.   • Seite 5 Taking the temperature Taking the temperature in the ear: To obtain an accurate reading, gently pull the ear back to straighten the ear canal and snugly position the probe into the ear canal, aiming towards the membrane of the eardrum. Press and hold the “SCAN” button until you hear a beep sound. Remove the probe from ear and read the temperature measurement on the LCD. Note: • It is recommended that you measure the same ear 3 times. If the three measurements are different, select the highest. • To avoid the risk of cross contamination, please clean the probe according to “Care and cleaning” section after each use. • A healthy person can have different temperatures depending on where the temperature is take. The variance can be between 0. - °C. • Clinical repeatability: 0.3°C (< year old), 0.°C (~5 years old), 0.°C (>5 years old) When you get a new temperature reading in ear mode, the previous reading will be shown on the screen at top right corner with the icon for previous reading.

    Taking the temperature in SCAN mode: • When you press the “SCAN” button, you will get the actual temperature immediately. • If you press and hold the “SCAN” button, the measurement will be updated continuously. • Applications include temperature measurements for water, milk, cloth, skin or other objects. Note: This mode gives the surface temperature which is different from the body temperature. To get the room temperature: • For room temperature, the thermometer should be placed on a table away from direct sunlight or air conditioner draughts. • When turned off the room temperature will always be shown on the screen with icon. • The room temperature can be reference after 5min later. After use • Power off: To extend battery life the device will automatically shut off if left idle for more than  minute. The LCD will only show the room temperature. • Clean the probe after each use to ensure an accurate reading and avoid cross contamination. (See the section of Care and Cleaning for details.) • After measurement, please push back the raised brim on the sliding panel above of LCD screen to protect the probe. IMPORTANT: Care & cleaning The probe is the most delicate part of the thermometer. Handle with care when cleaning the lens to avoid damage.

Température auriculaire: Ce thermomètre a été conçu pour une utilisation pratique à domicile.     Mémoire: Il y a 5 emplacements de mémoire pour les résultats des mesures auri culaires et frontales. Chaque emplacement enregistre la mesure avec le jour, l’heure, le mode d’opération et le point de mesure. • Lorsque l’appareil est en marche, appuyez sur la touche “ON/MEM”. Le symbole “ ” va s’afficher avec vous pourrez lire la valeur de la température. Changement °C / °F: Avec l’horloge préalablement réglée (voir réglage de l’horloge), l’écran affiche “date, heure et température de la pièce”. Appuyez sur la touche “SCAN” et maintenez-la enfoncée. Appuyez et relâchez immédiatement la touche “ON/MEM”. Après 3 secondes, l’affichage va permuter de “°C” à “°F” (suivez la même démarche pour revenir sur “°C”). Utilisation du thermomètre Assurez-vous que la pointe de mesure et l’objectif soient propres et intacts. Appuyez sur la touche “ON/MEM”. Température auriculaire : • Pousser le bouton « ON/MEM », pousser vers le haut le rebord élevé du panneau coulissant au-dessus de l’écran LCD. Le thermomètre est en mode auriculaire. Avec ce mode, vous pouvez obtenir la température corporelle avec une mesure effectuée dans l’oreille.

    Mesure de la température: Mesure de la température: • Tirez délicatement l’oreille vers l’arrière afin d’étirer le canal auditif. Placez la pointe de mesure confortablement dans le canal auditif. Elle doit être dirigée vers la membrane du tympan afin de garantir une mesure fiable. • Appuyez sur la touche “SCAN” et maintenez-la enfoncée jusqu’à ce que vous entendiez un bip. Vous pouvez maintenant retirer la pointe de mesure de l’oreille et lire la mesure sur l’écran. Lorsque vous appuyez sur la touche “ON/MEM”, l’appareil va convertir le résultat de la mesure auriculaire en la valeur buccale correspondante.     Speicherfunktion: Bei der Stirn-/Ohr-Messmethode können 5 Datensätze gespeichert werden. Neben dem Temperaturwert werden auch Datum, Zeit, Betriebsart und Messpunkt gespeichert. • Um die gespeicherten Werte (Symbol ) abzurufen, ist bei eingeschaltetem Thermometer die Taste „ ON/MEM“ zu betätigen. Umschaltung °C / °F: Bei ausgeschaltetem Thermometer zeigt das Display Datum, Zeit und Zimmertemperatur an.     Temperaturermittlung Messung im Ohr: Um ein möglichst genaues Messergebnis zu erzielen, ist die Ohrmuschel behutsam zurückzuziehen, um den Ohrkanal zugänglich zu machen. Dann ist der Tastkopf vorsichtig so einzuführen, dass er auf das Trom- melfell weist. Die Taste „ SCAN” betätigen und gedrückt halten, bis ein Piepton zu hören ist. Wird bei der Ohr-Messmethode eine neue Messung durchgeführt, erscheint der frühere Wert oben rechts im Display, zusammen mit dem entsprechenden Symbol.

    Messung der Zimmertemperatur • Um ein korrektes Messergebnis zu erzielen, ist das Thermometer auf den Tisch zu legen, wo es weder Sonnenlicht noch Luftzug ausgesetzt sein darf. • In abgeschaltetem Zustand wird die Zimmertemperatur zusammen mit dem Symbol „ “ angezeigt. • Die korrekte Zimmertemperatur wird nach 5 Minuten angezeigt.     Измерение температуры: Измерение температуры в ушном проходе, важно – выполнять неукоснительно: • Аккуратно оттяните ухо назад, чтобы распрямить слуховой канал. Вставьте наконечник в слуховой канал, не причиняя дискомфорта. Для обеспечения точности измерений наконечник должен быть направлен к барабанной перепонке. • Нажмите и удерживайте кнопку “SCAN”, пока не услышите звуковой сигнал.
