A double beep sounds when the grilling time is halfway through. This alerts you that the food
might need to be turned. After having turned over the food, close the door and press the
Start/+30 Sek./Bestätigen button to continue grilling.
h) Convection operation
The convection feature allows you to prepare your food like in a conventional oven. It is recommended to
preheat the cooking chamber to the desired temperature before placing the food inside.
With preheating:
• Press the button Umluft (11). The temperature indicator 100 starts flashing in the display.
• In order to set the desired temperature, turn the rotary control (9) or repeatedly press the Umluft button.
Select a temperature between 100 and 190 ºC.
• Press the button Start/+30 Sek./Bestätigen (8) to confirm.
• Press the button Start/+30 Sek./Bestätigen again to start preheating.
• A double beep sounds and the temperature value flashes on the display when the preset temperature
is reached.
• Open the door, place the food inside the cooking chamber and close the door.
• Use the knob to set the cooking time.
• Press the button Start/+30 Sek./Bestätigen to start cooking.
The cooking time may not be set until the cooking chamber is heated and the door has been
opened.
Should you fail to set the cooking time within 5 minutes of the temperature being reached,
preheating stops automatically. A beep sounds five times. The product is then in standby mode.
Without preheating:
• Open the door, place the food inside the cooking chamber and close the door.
• Press the button Umluft (11). The temperature indicator 100 starts flashing in the display.
• In order to set the desired temperature, turn the rotary control (9) or repeatedly press the Umluft button.
Select a temperature between 100 and 190 ºC.
• Press the button Start/+30 Sek./Bestätigen (8) to confirm.
• Use the knob to set the cooking time.
• Press the button Start/+30 Sek./Bestätigen to start cooking.
i) Defrosting by weight
• Press the button Gewicht/Zeit Auftauen (6). The display shows the indicator dEF1.
• Use the knob (9) to select the weight (100 - 2000 g).
• Press the button Start/+30 Sek./Bestätigen (8) to start defrosting.
After half of the time has elapsed, two acoustic signals will sound indicating the user to turn over
the defrosting food. If you do not turn over the food, the result might not be sufficient enough.
