g) Grill operation
The grill feature is especially useful for preparing thin pieces of meat, sausages or pieces of chicken. It is
also suitable for grilled cheese sandwiches and gratin dishes.
• Use the grill rack (14) where required. The grill rack must be placed on the glass tray.
• Select the grill feature by pressing the button Mikrowelle/Grill/Kombi./Umluft (11). The display shows
the indicator G – 1.
• Confirm your setting by pressing the button Start/+30 Sek./Bestätigen (8).
• Set the desired grilling time using the knob (6). You can set a maximum grilling time of 95 minutes.
• Press the button Start/+30 Sek./Bestätigen to start grilling.
A double beep sounds when the grilling time is halfway through. This alerts you that the food
might need to be turned.
h) Convection operation
The convection feature allows you to prepare your food like in a conventional oven. It is recommended to
preheat the cooking chamber to the desired temperature before placing the food inside.
With preheating:
• Press the button Mikrowelle/Grill/Kombi./Umluft (11) until the display shows the flashing temperature
indicator 150.
• Set the desired temperature between 150 and 240 °C in 10-degree increments using the knob (6).
• Press the button Start/+30 Sek./Bestätigen (8) to confirm.
• Press the button Start/+30 Sek./Bestätigen again to start preheating.
• A double beep sounds and the temperature value flashes on the display when the preset temperature
is reached.
• Open the door, place the food inside the cooking chamber and close the door.
• Use the knob to set the cooking time.
• Press the button Start/+30 Sek./Bestätigen to start cooking.
The cooking time may not be set until the cooking chamber is heated and the door has been
opened.
Should you fail to set the cooking time within 5 minutes of the temperature being reached,
preheating stops automatically. A beep sounds five times. The product is then in standby mode.
Without preheating:
• Open the door, place the food inside the cooking chamber and close the door.
• Press the button Mikrowelle/Grill/Kombi./Umluft (11) until the display shows the flashing temperature
indicator 150.
• Set the desired temperature between 150 and 240 °C in 10-degree increments using the knob (6).
• Press the button Start/+30 Sek./Bestätigen (8) to confirm.
• Use the knob to set the cooking time.
• Press the button Start/+30 Sek./Bestätigen to start cooking.
