• Do not fill the reservoir with hot water and do not fill the reservoir while the device is still hot (leave
to cool for at least 15 minutes).
• Never leave electronic devices unsupervised while in use.
• During operation, parts of the device may become very hot. Only touch the relevant parts and
handles. Risk of burns!
• In order to ensure that the anti-drip system is working properly, please be careful to ensure that the
pot lid is correctly installed on the glass jug, that the filter attachment is correctly inserted and fixed
into place and that the jug is correctly positioned under the filter outlet.
• Be careful to ensure that the cover of the reservoir / filter is correctly shut during boiling. Risk of
burns!
• Be careful to ensure that the device openings are not in the vicinity of persons or objects, since hot
steam is discharged during boiling.
• Before cleaning, always unplug the mains plug from the mains socket and allow the device to
thoroughly cool down.
• This device is not for the use of certain individuals, whose physical, sensory or mental handicap or
lack of experience and wisdom would hinder their operation of the device.
• Children are unaware of the dangers that arise when handling electric devices. Keep device away
from children. Be especially careful when using the device in the vicinity of children!
• Keep packaging materials such as plastic bags and expanded foam out of reach of children. Risk of
suffocation!
• Never use the device when it has been damaged, has fallen off or fails to work perfectly.
• Check the device, power cord and mains plug regularly for any visual damage. If any damage has
been detected, do not use the device under any circumstances. Do not attempt to repair the device
yourself.

hear or naked flames.
• The removable plastic parts must not be placed on hot surfaces, because they are prone to melting.
• Only use the device and its accessories for the intended use. Do not use the device to filter any
liquids other than water or to boil or filter coffee already made a second time or to boil anything on
the keep-warm plate. Do not use the glass jug in or on other heat sources or in a microwave oven.
• The device is only for use in private households and not designed for commercial use.
