3. Intended Use

The product consists of an outdoor unit (with bell button, speaker and microphone) and an indoor unit (with door
opener button and handset that can be taken off). A door opener can be connected to the outdoor unit (not enclosed,
for operating voltage, etc., see chapter "Technical Data").
Depending on version, the scope of delivery contains one, two or three indoor units.
Power is supplied via the included mains adapter.
The outdoor and indoor unit must be connected via a 3-wired cable (not enclosed).
The outdoor unit is suitable for installation in and outdoors (IP24), all other parts of the system must not get moist or
wet and must be installed and operated indoors.
If a person pushes the bell button on the outdoor unit, the indoor unit will ring. Then the removable handset of the
indoor unit can be used to talk to the visitor. If the visitor is to be granted access, you can activate a door opener at
the indoor unit, which is connected to the outdoor unit.
For reasons of safety and approval, the product must not be converted and/or changed by you. Using the product
for any other purposes than those described above may damage the product. Improper use also may cause dangers
such as short circuit, fire, electric shock, etc. Read the operating instructions precisely and keep them. Only pass the
product on to any third parties together with the operating instructions.
