DC Connector
In case many UPM 8006 and UPX 8012 are connected current drain might be too big. In that case u can connect an
optional 24V DC power supply (UPS 8006) at this terminal.

RJ45 System Connector
This connector is being used to connect the UPM 8006 to the UCA 8240 and/or to the next desktop mic.

Output Level Control
The output level of the desktop mic can be adjustedwwith this volume control by means of a small screwdriver.

Gooseneck Electret Mic
The paging station is equipped with a high quality condenser microphone capsule and a rigid goose neck.

Zone Keys and Zone LEDs
The zones to be activated are being preselected by these keys.
A green LED will light up next to the zone key that has been selected.
By pressing the PTT key the unit will check the prority status and then activate the selected zone

'All Call' Key and LED
This key activates all zones and all zone LEDs will light up.
If the ‚All Call' key is pressed again the zone activation will be cancelled.

Talk LED
This LED lights up when the ‚Talk' key (10) is pressed.

Busy LED
If a microphone with a higher priority is activated this LED will blink.

‚Lock' Key (Locking Talk Key)
This talk key is useful for longer announcements as it locks when pressed. Pushing the key again unlocks this function.

‚Talk' Key (Non Locking Talk Key)
Pushing this key initiates a priority check. If no mic with a higher priority or the 'TEL/EMER' input is active the
announcement from this mic is activated.
If inputs with higher priority are active the mic goes into standby mode what is indicated by a orange Blinking busy LED.

Connector for Extenion Unit UPX 8012 (right)
The extension unit UPX 8012 can be connected here.

Volume Control for Chime Level
The output level of the chime signal can be adjusted with this control.
