2.5 Setting the Speech Filter

Push ‚Talk' key (10) and ‚Zone 2' key(5) simultaneously until the 'Talk' LED (7) and 'Zone 2' LED
(5) start blinking.
The LEDs next to the zone keys 2 indicates if the speech filter is activated or not.
By pushing the ‚Zone 2' key (5) you can switch the speech filter on or off.
To store a particular setting press the ‚Talk' key (10).
2.6 Programming of Group Calls
Group calls allow announcements in a preselected number of zones by just pushing one key.
Group calls can only be programmed on the paging station itself but not on the extension unit
UCX 8012.
That means max 6 groups can be programmed.
To activate a programmed group, please press the programmed Zone key for 3 seconds.

3. Operation

Select one ore more zones for an announcement.
Press the 'Talk' switch (10). The unit checks the priority mode first
If an input with higher priority is active the 'Busy' LED ( 8) starts blinking yellow.
If no inputs with a higher priority are active the 'Busy' LED lights up green and you can start the announcement
into the preselected zone(s).
During the pre-chime is running, the "Busy" LED (8) blinks green.
After the announcement you release the ‚Talk' key (10). The zone selection will be cancelled
If longer announcements have to be made you can press the 'Lock' key (9). This locks the talk function an you
don't need to hold the 'Talk switch' (10) all the time.
The lock function can be released by a repeated push of the 'Lock' key (9)
