4. Installation of Extension Unit UCX 8012

Connect UPM 8006 with the extension unit UCX 8012 with the flat cable supplied with the unit.
If you want to connect additional UCX to one desktop mic the connection is done with the same kind of cable
between the UCX 8012.
Use the supplied metal brackets to mechanically attach the extension unit(s)
Use a RJ 45 cable to connect the UPM 8006 with the UCA 8240.

The max distance between an UCA 8240 and an UPM 8006 can be:

Make sure that the total length of all bus cables incl. all connection cables to and between the extension units
UCX 8012, desktop mics UPM 8006 and the wall panel UWC 8006 must not exceed 1.500m.
Switch on the UCA 8240 and perform the necessary settings.
Adjust an appropriate output level of the desktop mic by means of the countersunk volume control (3) at the
rear of the unit.
