Principle of function
This plasma lamp consists of a transparent glass ball filled with different gases at low pressure. On the inside
of the glass ball there is a smaller glass ball that serves as an electrode. If a high frequency alternating voltage
is connected, flashes are created that reach from the inner to the outer glass ball. If, for example, a hand is
placed on the glass, the electric field changes. A visible light beam is created from the inner light ball to the
point of contact.
5.
Inserting/replacing batteries
1.
Open the battery compartment on the underside of the product.
2.
Insert four AA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment, observing the correct polarity. Also
observe the polarity labelling inside the battery compartment.
3.
Close the battery compartment again.
Replace the batteries when the light effect becomes visibly dimmer.
If required, you can operate the product from an optionally available power supply unit. The
connector is mounted laterally on the base.
