Don' t plug in the unit immediately after bringing it in from a

B 2. General
The measuring unit EKM 265 is designed for checking and mea-
suring of electrical consumers in household and industry.
By entering a tariff (see B 3.1 tariff input) the operating costs for
the unit to be measured are calculated automatically
in the LC-display.

The EKM 265 is supplied by mains voltage and works without
batteries. Data saving for the tariffs is archieved by an EEPROM

B 3. Operation
Plug in the EKM 265 in the socket. The measuring unit switches
automatically in the normal mode (see B 3.2 Operation modes).
Connect the appliance to be measured to the measuring unit.
