• Connect the two alligator terminals (13) of the signaller to the
cable to be detected.
If the ends of the cable to be tested are too far apart,
either use a second reference lead as the return path
(wire these two cables at their furthest ends) or use the
ground potential of the house wiring as the return path.
As the "antipole" just use the protective conductor of a
grounded mains socket.
• Always move sensor 2 of the
cable detector in parallel along
the cable to be detected.
• If required, adjust the sensitivity
using the corresponding control:
+ = increase sensitivity
- = reduce sensitivity
• Detected cables are indicated
visually (green LED), acoustically,
and via the integrated vibration
device.
Brightness, volume, and intensity of the indication depend on the
signal strength.
• At the end of the test, set the mode switch (22) back to the "OFF"
position.

The "hand" symbol indicates special information and
advice on operation of the appliance.
Keep measuring instruments and accessories out of the reach of
children!
