4.0 General Information regarding
UNITEST Cable Length Meters
The UNITEST Cable Length Meters are measure-
ment instruments for swift, easy, and precise de-
termination of the lengths of a cable or a conductor.
Connect the instrument by means of the two alliga-
tor clamps (Kelvin clamps) supplied to both cable
or conductor end and set the respective measure-
ment range. The conductor length is clearly indi-
cated on the digital display.
The UNITEST Cable Length Meters enable the mea-
surement of the most conventional cable cross sec-
tions in copper or aluminium. Additionally, 84 freely
adjustable cable cross sections are available for
programming and measurement.
The built-in memory is used to save test results and
to transfer via interface to a PC.
