Open button
Press this button to open the CD top cover.
Insert the media with the label face upward on the disc tray.

LCD
– 40 SEC (starting screen, then the player will go to the anti-shock mode ( ESP ))
– no dISC (no disc is detected)
– Err (the disc data can not be read)
– (battery voltage reaches low, the unit will automatically turn off)
– CD mode (total numbers of tracks, needed playback time)
– MP3 or WMA mode (total numbers of albums/folders, and of tracks)
Hint: While WMA files are played on the screen MP3 is displayed.

ASP/DIR
– Shortly after the player is switched on (display: 40 SEC) or with anti-shock
mode switched off: anti-shock mode can be set to on (display: ESP )
– While in anti-shock mode (display: ESP ): switch off anti-shock mode
– While in MP3 mode: select an album/folder

STOP button
The player will remain stop mode for a view seconds and then shut down
automatically.

On button / Play, Pause
– Player is off: turn on the player (display: 40 SEC)
After a short pause the first music track starts playing automatically. Prior to
this the earphone has to be connected. Please ensure the batteries are
inserted.
– Player is on: pause and resume music playback

– Press and hold: fast rewind

MODE
Used to set the modes Repeat, Intro, and Random.
– Repeat mode (in playback mode only)

repeat all tracks .
– Display
To quit this mode, keep pressing MODE button until function indicators
disappear from the screen.
(CD and MP3 mode): repeat currently played track.
ALL (CD mode) or display
ALBUM (MP3 mode): repeat whole album.
