10. The filter can be shook until clean or cleaned and
rinsed off under warm water. Ensure that the parts
are dry before you reassemble the entire unit.
Assembly takes place in reverse order.

Cleaning the brush roller

If for some reason the brush roller becomes blocked or if
it jams, this will reduce vacuum cleaner's suction power. It
is then likely that the brush roller will have to be cleaned.
First deactivate the unit and then use scissors or a sharp
knife to remove objects such as threads, which are caught.
11. If the brush roller must be removed, open the top
flap by turning the locking mechanism counter-
clockwise using a coin or another tool to the point
indicated on the unit (see Fig.). The top flap will then
be released and may be carefully removed with the
help of a screw driver.
12. Remove the brush roller and clean it. Reinsert the
roller and ensure that it fits into the guide track and is
completely mobile.
13. Return the top flap to its previous position and close
it by turning the locking mechanism clockwise
(approx. 90°).
Cleaning the wheel axles
If a wheel jams due to threads or dirt:
14. Carefully remove the wheels by prying them out of
their respective recesses with a screw driver. Remove
all threads or other objects, which have caused the
wheels to jam. Reassemble the wheels by firmly
pressing them together.
