Caution!
Reverse polarity on the connected rechargeable battery is indicated by LED 11.

A short circuit detected by the charger is indicated by LED 10.

• Now, use the 'MODE' button to select the desired operating mode (summer, winter, maintenance mode) within 10 seconds. The next chapter contains the
description of the individual operating modes.
Important Note!
After you selected a lead charging function with the 'SET' button, the device activates the desired charging programme according to the operating mode

selected by means of the 'MODE' button after 10 seconds.
After selecting boost, calcium, or power supply with the 'SET' button, and using the 'MODE' button to select the mode, you must confirm the selected

mode within 10 seconds by pressing the 'SET' and 'MODE' buttons simultaneously.
Caution! Only in the first 10 seconds after connecting the rechargeable battery, it is possible to select the desired charge mode (in this time an acoustic signal will
sound). If this is not enough time for you or if you accidentally selected the wrong mode, you must disconnect the rechargeable battery once again from the charger
and repeat the connection or selection procedure.
Please note that you always have to select the functions by means of the 'SET' button first and then the mode using the 'MODE' button.
• After charging (LED 4 lights constantly), disconnect the charger from the mains voltage.
• Then remove the connection adapter from the minus pole and then from the plus pole.
DESCRIPTION OF OPERATING MODES
Summer mode for rechargeable lead batteries
This mode is suitable for charging all rechargeable 12 V lead batteries (SLA, gel, and AGM) with a capacity of 20 Ah at an ambient temperature above 10°C.
Press the 'SET' button until LED 13 (Lead) lights up. Then press the 'MODE' button again and again until LED 5 flashes. After approx. 10 seconds LED 5 is constantly
on and the charging procedure starts.
The charging status is indicated by LED 1 to 4. When the LED is constantly on, the rechargeable battery is full. Then the device switches to maintenance charge.
Winter mode for rechargeable lead batteries
This mode is suitable for charging all rechargeable 12 V lead batteries (SLA, gel, and AGM) with a capacity of 20 Ah at an ambient temperature below 10°C.
Press the 'SET' button until LED 13 (Lead) lights up. Then press the 'MODE' button again and again until LED 6 flashes. After approx. 10 seconds LED 6 is constantly
on and the charging procedure starts.
The charging status is indicated by LED 1 to 4. When the LED 4 is constantly on, the rechargeable battery is full. Then the device switches to maintenance charge.
Maintenance mode (MAINTENANCE)
This mode is only suitable for rechargeable lead batteries.
This mode is used to maintain the rechargeable 12 V lead battery (SLA, gel, and AGM). The charging current is 5A +/- 10% up to a battery voltage of 13.6 V +/- 0.20
V. Then the charging current is reduced continuously.
Press the 'SET' button until LED 13 (Lead) lights up. Then use the 'MODE' button to select the maintenance function; LED 7 will flash. After approx. 10 seconds the
LED 7 is constantly on and the maintenance mode starts.
Boost function
This mode is only suitable for rechargeable lead batteries.
This function is used to reactivate deeply discharged batteries. When the battery voltage has reached approx. 10 V (depending on the condition of the rechargeable
battery), the charger switches automatically to the summer mode for lead batteries. (See description above).
Press the 'SET' button until LED 14 (Lead Boost) lights up. Then confirm the function selected by pressing the 'SET' and 'MODE' buttons simultaneously.
Calcium summer mode
This mode is suitable for rechargeable 12 V calcium batteries from 25 Ah at an ambient temperature above 10°C.
Press the 'SET' button until LED 15 (Calcium) lights up.
'MODE' button until LED 5 lights up to select the summer mode. After approx. 10 seconds the LED 5 is constantly on and the charging procedure starts. When the
maximum charge voltage has been reached, the charger switches to maintenance charge.
Calcium winter mode
This mode is suitable for all rechargeable 12 V calcium batteries from 25 Ah at low ambient temperatures below 10°C.
Press the 'SET' button until LED 15 (Calcium) lights up. Then, confirm the function selected by pressing the 'SET' and 'MODE' buttons simultaneously. Then press
the 'MODE' button until LED 6 lights up to select the winter mode. After approx. 10 seconds the LED 6 is constantly on and the charging procedure starts. When the
maximum charge voltage has been reached, the charger switches to maintenance charge.
Power supply function
The charger can also be used as power pack. In this mode the device provides 13.7 V at a maximum of 8 A.
To select the power supply mode, press the 'SET' button until LED 16 (Power Supply) flashes. Then confirm the function selected by pressing the 'SET' and 'MODE'
buttons simultaneously. Now LED 16 lights constantly.
To switch off the power supply function, press the 'SET' and 'MODE' buttons simultaneously again for approx. 2 seconds. Now LED 16 lights constantly.
