General Information

Dual power: With its built in high power solar and backup battery, the calculator can work
under any lighting conditions.
Start: Press (ON/C/CE) key before starting calculation.
Auto power off: Power will automatically turn off after 7 minutes if no entry is made.
Changing the battery: The backup battery has a long life. If the display fades, remove all
four screws on the back cover. To separate the front and back covers, carefully insert
and twist a flat-blade screwdriver between them. Gently pry out the old battery then
position the new battery so the (+) side is facing up. Snap the covers back together,
then reinsert and tighten the screws.
Overflow: When an overflow error occurs, the overflow error sign "E" appears on the
display. Press (ON/C/CE) to reset.
Reset: If the calculator malfunctions, use the tip of a ball point pen (or similar sharp
object) to press the "RESET" button. After resetting, be sure to set the conversion rate
and tax rate again (if available).
Tilt Display: Adjust display to desired angle.

Guarantee
Operation of this machine is guaranteed for one year from date of purchase, subject to normal use.
Within the guarantee period, GBC will at its own discretion either repair or replace the defective machine
free of charge. Defects due to misuse or use for inappropriate purposes are not covered under the
guarantee. Proof of date of purchase will be required. Repairs or alterations made by persons not
authorised by GBC will invalidate the guarantee. It is our aim to ensure that our products perform to the
specifications stated. This guarantee does not affect the legal rights which consumers have under
applicable national legislation governing the sale of goods.
