6.6 electrical connection

DANGER Electrocution
All electrical work must be carried out by an electri-
cian in accordance with the applicable regulations
and local guidelines.
f Before starting work, isolate the control unit

from the power supply.
f Connect the solar compact installation firmly to the solar f
control unit in accordance with the operating and installa-
tion instructions of the solar control unit.
f Fit the electrical connecting cable with strain relief.

6.7 safety equipment

this product is equipped with a 0.6 mPa safety valve. when
installing the system, ensure that the safety valve is easily ac-
cessible.
WARNING Burns or scalding
With safety valves there is a risk of scalding from the
expulsion of steam.
f During installation, check the local conditions

to see whether a discharge pipe needs connect-
ing to the safety assembly.
Damage to the appliance and environment

the safety valve drain must discharge into a heat-
resistant container that can hold the entire content of
the system. In the case of smaller systems, the empty
heat transfer medium can is adequate. dispose of used
heat transfer medium by appropriate means (landfill
or incineration).
