Registering and deregistering handsets

9.1.1 Registering Sprint 100 handsets

The handset is assigned an internal call number. The handset
already registered has the internal call number 1. The second
handset registered is assigned the internal call number 2. This
internal call number appears in the display to the right of the
name of the telephone.
9.1.2 Registering other DECT−GAP telephones on the base
station

Follow the information in the operating manual provided by the device
manufacturer. Use the PIN code to register (default setting: 0000).
9.1.3 Registering a handset on a DECT/GAP base station from
another manufacturer
Follow the instructions in the operating manual from the original
manufacturer to set the base station from the external manufacturer to
Registration mode. Use the PIN code from the external manufacturer for
the registration.

9.1.4 Deregistering handsets
A handset can only be deregistered by another handset still registered.
This means it is not possible to complete the deregistration using the
handset which is to be deregistered.
