CD-PLAYER / MP3-PLAYER
• Press the lock on the CD cover (OPEN/CLOSE) to open the cover on the CD compartment on the
upper side of the device.
• Put a CD in the CD compartment with the cover facing up and close the CD compartment again, by
pressing the cover down until you hear the lock closing.
Playback of the entire CD / MP 3
Remark:
During playback of a MP3 the number of folders is not shown, only the total number of titles.
• Set the function key of the device to the function CD / MP3. In the display, "---" will blink. The CD
will be scanned by the device.
• When the CD has been scanned, the number of titles is shown in the display and the selected
medium (CD or MP3).
• With the Play-Pause-key the CD may be started. In the display 001 is shown for the first title of the
CD / MP3.
• If an MP3 is entered in the device, the display will change between title number and folder number
(001 for the first title, F01 for the first folder).
• With the volume control it is possible to select the desired volume.
• To stop the playback press the Play-Pause-key 2 ; again; in the display blinks; and the number of
the stopped title.
• To start the CD again press again on the Play-Pause-key 2 ;; . The display stops blinking and the
CD / MP3 starts again.
• To stop the playback, press the stop key 9.
Remark:
If no CD is in the device or the CD / MP3 is not readable, the display will first show "- - -" and then
"no". If the CD-compartment is open, the display will show "OP" for open.

Playback of certain titles / CD

• Put a CD in the CD-compartment.
• Pres short on the forward-key 5 or the back key 6 until the desired title is shown in the display.
• Afterwards press the Play-Pause-key 2 ; ; .
• If you press the forward 5 or back key during playback, you may jump to the next title or the
beginning of the present title.
• If you keep the forward or back key down, the title will be played in double speed forward or
backwards. With this function you may move quickly to a desired position within a title.

Playback of one certain titles / MP3

• Put a MP3-CD in the CD-compartment.
• With the forward 6or back key 5 the desired title may as with CD's be selected and then played
with the Play-Pause-key 2 ; ;.
• Furthermore you may by pressing the key FOLD+ / +10 jump 10 titles forward within the MP3.
Example: To chose the title no. 32, press the key FOLD+ / +10 three times and then the forward
key 6 once.
Remark:
With the model CD 19 A it is also possible to jump 10 titles backwards with the key FOLD -/-10.

Playback of one certain folder / MP3

• To select the desired folder keep the key FOLD+ / +10 down. In the display the folder number will
be shown. When you get to the folder, let the key go.
Remark:
With the model CD 19 A it is also possible to jump backwards from folder to folder by keeping the key
FOLD -/-10 down.
