HANDLING OF THE DEVICE

• Connect the plug of the device to an electric outlet or put in the batteries, as shown in the chapter
"Inserting the batteries".
• Open the cover of the CD compartment on the upper side of the device with a light press on the
lock and take out the protective paper from the CD compartment. Then a CD may be placed in the
CD compartment.
• Close the CD compartment again by pressing the cover down with a light pressure, until you hear
the lock closing in.
• Now put the function key of the device on the desired function (Radio, TAPE or CD, MP3).
• To turn the device on or off, press the POWER-button. If the device is on, the red power lamp will be
lit. If the device is off the lamp will also be off.
RADIO
To get to the radio mode, push the function key of the device to "RADIO".
Adjusting the sender
• Push the radio frequency key to the desired frequency (AM, FM or FM Stereo).
• Turn the antenna from the holder and pull it all out.
• Find the desired sender within the chosen frequency area by turning the TUNING-wheel. The
chosen sender may be seen in the sender frequency scale.
• By turning the antenna you may improve reception of the sender.
• If the radio frequency key is set to FM stereo (FM-ST), the FM stereo display will be lit red, as soon
as a sender in the stereo is received.
