ALLGEMEIN
Das EAC 2-TERMINAL wird zur Zutrittskontrolle ein-
gesetzt. Die Identifikation am Terminal erfolgt dabei
kontaktlos mittels eines PROXY-Datenträgers an der
integrierten Antenne oder an einer angeschlossenen
externen Antenne (z.B. EAC 2-ANTENNE). Über einen
Relaisausgang kann ein elektrischer Türöffner o.ä. ange-
steuert werden. 2 Optokopplereingänge lassen sich frei
für Überwachungsfunktionen o.ä. konfigurieren. Über eine
RS 485 Schnittstelle kann das Terminal mit einem PC
verbunden werden um das Terminal zu konfigurieren, zu
steuern und Buchungen auszulesen. Ein potentialfreier
Kontakt (im Ruhezustand geschlossen) kann mit der
Sabotagelinie einer Alarmanlage verbunden werden.
MONTAGE
Das Terminal kann in eine Standard-Hohlwanddose mit
einem Innendurchmesser von Ø 55 mm und einer Tiefe innen
von 41 mm eingebaut werden. Es können verschiedene
Schalterprogramme mit entsprechenden Blindabdeckungen
verwendet werden. Eine Standard-Blindabdeckung ist im
Lieferumfang enthalten. Bei anderen Blindabdeckungen
muß eine Loch für die LED gebohrt werden.

GENERAL
The EAC 2-TERMINAL is used for access control. The
identification at the Terminal is done contactless with a
PROXY Data Carrier at the integrated antenna or a con-
nected external antenna (e.g. EAC 2-ANTENNA). An
electronic door solenoid or similar can be controlled via
the relay output. Two optocoupler inputs can be configured
for different functions like surveillance. Via the RS 485
interface the Terminal can be connected to a PC in order
to configure and control the Terminal or to read the bookings
from the Terminal. A potential-free contact (closed in
idle-state) can be connected to the sabotage-line of an
alarm system.
MOUNTING
The Terminal can be installed in a standard concealed
socket with an inside diameter of Ø 55 mm and a inside
depth of 41 mm. Different switch systems with
corresponding dummy covers can be used. A standard
dummy cover is included in the scope of supply. For
other dummy covers a drilling for the LED has to be
made.
