The EIB controller is a room thermostat with microprocessor technology
for the control of individual room temperatures. It controls heating
actuators or EIB technology actuators. It has been designed for
temperature regulation in living rooms and offices. The continuous PI
regulation is marked by a very precise controlling behaviour. Temperature
pre-selection is in ¼ degree steps. Apart from continuous heating
regulation, functions as e. g. 2-level heating (floor heating and radiator
for fast heating of a room) as well as heating and cooling, are possible.
Best energy saving results can be obtained by connecting a central time
program control system.
Up to three conventional pushbutton or switches can be connected to
an EIB regulator; this makes these switches or pushbuttons EIB-compatible.
Moreover, a remote temperature sensor can be connected for monitoring
the floor temperature.
