Once having put in function this mode the clock cannot be stopped by pushing any button
unintentionally. The elapsed - time - mode can only be stopped by pushing buttons
at the same time. The display will show in this case four horizontal dashes. The same effect

2. Elapsed - Time - Mode with Count - Down - Function
This mode allows you at - maximally 59 minutes prior take-off - to start the Count - Down -
function. The time will be counted backward. When reaching the take-off - time the display
shows 00:00. Thereafter the elapsed - time will be presented on the display. Every fifteen
seconds the time will be announced during all operations.
For example: 49 minutes before take-off for a navigation-flight you want to make the l a st
checks. Count-Down-Setting should be 49 minutes.
