7. Tripod mounting

The Action Cam is supplied with a tripod, which can also be used as a hand
grip.
Mounting the device to an alternative tripod:
• Unscrew the standard tripod from the camera housing by turning anti-
clockwise.
• Screw the alternative tripod into the tripod thread at the bottom of the cam-
era housing.
Tripod threads are standardised and will, therefore, fit into the tripod
thread on the Action Cam.

8. Charging the in-built rechargeable battery

The USB connection used to charge the device must have a power
rating of at least 500 mA. This is the case for most computer USB
ports.
If the USB post at which the device is charged, has a power rating
of 500 mA, the camera must be switched off during charging. With
a higher power rated USB port, the camera can remain switched on
during charging.
Fully charge the battery before using the camera for the first time. A
full charge takes approximately 3 hours.
Charge the battery regularly, even when you are not using the Action
Cam (at least once per month). Failure to charge the battery regularly
may cause the battery to overdischarge, which can cause permanent
damage.
