The Motion Tablet PC (LE1700 only) contains an internal modem that has been tested
to comply with FCC Standards (FCC Part 22 & FCC Part 24) and has been tested and
found to comply with the guidelines for Human exposure to radiofrequnecy
electromagnetic fields. The maximum Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) measured was
1.32 W/kg (EV-DO Rev.0) {PCS Band 1851.25 – 1908.75 MHz} and 0.651 W/kg
(CDMA 1XRTT / EV-DO Rev.A) {Cellular Band 824.70 – 848.31 MHz}
United States Modem Statement
The telecommunication device in your Motion Tablet PC (LE1700 only) is
manufactured by Novatel Wireless and registered with the FCC under FCC ID:
PKRNVWES720. The Novatel Wireless Expedite E720 Mini-Card features the latest
EV-DO Revision A technology and transmits data at speeds up to 3.1 Mbps and
supports dual band diversity. The Novatel Wireless Expedite E720 is backwards
compatible to EV-DO Revision 0 and 1xRTT. The Expedite E720 module operates on
frequency bands of 800/ 1900 networks.
