Method:
Check that the control knob is in the '-' position
and the burner is extinguished, before unscrewing
the cylinder. Inspect the gaskets before screwing
on a new cylinder. Replace the cylinder outdoors
and away from other persons.
Screw the cylinder all the way down into the bar-
becue. Check for gas leaks, using a soap solution.
Apply soap solution to the various gas-carrying
parts of the Tam Tam. The formation of air bub-
bles indicates a gas leak.
BEFORE AND AFTER EACH USE
Check every 30 min. and top up, if necessary.
After use, when the fat drip tray has cooled suf-
ficiently, you can pour out the water together with
the fat.
Allow the barbecue to warm up before placing any
food on it. Avoid moving the unit when it is hot. If
absolutely necessary, move the unit only by lifting
it with the 2 handles on the side.
First use
When using your gas barbecue for the first time,
you must first allow the unit to run in by operat-
ing it for a short period of time without any food.
For this, you ignite the barbecue, close the lid and
keep the temperature at "LOW" for 15 minutes.
You then open the lid and allow the barbecue to
operate for another 5 minutes at '
IGNITION
Automatic ignition
- Open the lid
- Make sure the burner control knob is turned '-'
- Turn burner control knob down to '+'.
- Turn the button several times, so you hear it
click each time.
- Check that the burner is lit. Looking through the
grid, you should see the flames.
