Operational safety
► Before commissioning the entire measuring point, make sure all the connections are correct. Ensure
that electrical cables and hose connections are not damaged.
► Do not operate damaged products, and safeguard them to ensure that they are not operated
inadvertently. Mark the damaged product as defective.
► If faults cannot be rectified, the products must be taken out of service and secured against
unintentional commissioning.

Product safety
8.5.1 State-of-the-art technology
The product is designed to meet state-of-the-art safety requirements, has been tested and left the factory
in a condition in which it is safe to operate.
Relevant regulations and European standards have been observed.
8.5.2 Dispatch and storage
• Electrodes are individually tested prior to delivery and are supplied individually packed.
• Storage conditions: 10 to 30 ˚C (50 to 90 ˚F), dry rooms
• The 3M KCl solution in the transport protection cap prevents the electrode from drying out.
NOTICE
Frost below -5 ˚C (23 ˚F)
Electrodes crack if the internal buffer solution and/or internal electrolyte freezes.
► Use frost-proof packaging when transporting.
