5. Rinse all parts thoroughly under running water.
6. Allow all parts to air-dry or dry them in the drying cabinet
(temperature: 60 °C). Keep away from direct sunlight.

Maintenance work

3.2.1 Replacing the sweatband

1. Remove old sweatband from support ring.
2. Fasten a new sweatband on the hooks of the support ring.
3.2.2 Replacing the protective cover

1. If installed, remove old protective cover.
2. If necessary, wipe visor with a damp cloth and dry with a soft cloth.
3. Pull off protective paper from the adhesive tape of the new
protective cover (Figure D-1).
4. Depending on the type of hood, align the recesses in the protective
cover (standard hood) or the upper edge of the foil (premium hood)
with the upper edge of the visor.
5. Stick the new protective cover on the visor.
6. Pull off transport foil from protective cover (Figure D-2).

5 Storage
Store the hood dry and clean in the original packaging and protect it
from direct sunlight and thermal radiation.
6 Disposal
Dispose of the product in accordance with the applicable waste
disposal regulations.
