3. Make sure that the support ring is completely positioned within the
sealing area.
4. Check hood fit. The hood's fit must be tight, safe and comfortable.
If necessary, use the quick adjustment system to increase the
wearing comfort.
5. Push the lower section of the bib on longer hoods underneath the
protective clothing if you wish.

Danger through lack of oxygen and CO
Do not switch off the respiratory protective device while the
hood is still worn.
1. Taking off the hood:
a. Grip the donning/doffing loops.
b. First pull the hood over the chin and then over the head.
2. If necessary, clean and disinfect the hood (see section 3.1 on page
14).

How to proceed in case of standard hood:
1. Clean hood with lukewarm soapy water and rinse with clean water.
2. Wipe hood dry or let it dry in the air. Keep away from direct
sunlight.
How to proceed in case of premium hood:
1. Clean all parts with lukewarm water and Sekusept
a soft cloth (max. temperature: 30 °C; concentration depending on
the degree of contamination: 0.5 - 1 %)
2. Rinse all parts thoroughly under running water.
3. Prepare a disinfectant bath of water and Incidin
(temperature: 30 °C; concentration: 1.5 %)
4. Place all parts to be disinfected into the disinfectant bath (duration:
15 minutes).

CAUTION
Potential damage to components!
Only use the prescribed processes and the cleaning and
disinfection agents specified for cleaning and disinfecting.
Other agents, methods, dosages and contact times may
damage the components.
Health hazard!
The undiluted agents are damaging to health if they come into
direct contact with the eyes or skin. Wear safety goggles and
protective gloves when working with these agents.
