Cleaning and care
Place an easy-to-clean tablecloth under the appliance to protect the surface of your
table from spattering fat. Because of the heat we recommend you to put the raclette-
oven on to a mat. Place the appliance in the centre of the table. Plug the appliance
into a duly connected protection contact socket. Put the temperature control to the
desired level. Preheat the grill for about 10 minutes.
In order to prevent damage to the non-stick coating, please use a spatule to lift the
grilled food off the plate. We recommend that you use the wooden spatule supplied
with the appliance to take cheese out of the pans (5). To avoid damage to the coated
surface, never use knives or other metallic objects to cut food in the individual pans
on the grill plates (1).
GB
The grill plate is meant for cooking small pieces of meat or you accompaniments to
melted cheese (bacon rashers, mushrooms, onions, small sausages etc.).
The individual pans are meant to be used to melt the cheese.
TIP
Do not leave the pans (5) on the hot grill plate (1) after use. Left-over food
in the pan will be burnt on, making cleaning more difficult.
CLEANING AND CARE
Disconnect the appliance from the mains and allow to cool before cleaning. The top
part of the base should only be cleaned with a cloth. Wipe the bottom part of the
base with a damp cloth. Never use steel scouring pads, abrasives or solvents.
ATTENTION:
Make sure that no water is allowed to penetrate inside the appliance. Never immerse
the appliance in water. Wash the individual pans, wooden spatule and grill plate in
warm water with a little detergent.
When storing protect the appliance against dust or dirt (packed in a plastic bag).
Store the appliance in a cool and dry place.
