Mains connection

Attention:
Before connecting the compact flash unit to the mains outlet,
make sure, that the mains voltage matches the information
given on the type label of the compact flash.
The type label can be found on the bottom of the appliance.
The provided power cable will be attached to the mains
socket 20 and then connected to the mains outlets.
Compact flashes may only be connected to mains outlets
with ground connection.
The unit has to be switched on and off using the main switch
18. By pressing the button 18 of the Cable Remote Control
RC-X (accessory) the unit will be switched to the Stand-by
mode. The displays 11 and 16 show „--/--".

Fuses

16 A fuse outlets for MONO MAX 750/1500/3000 compact
flash units
Fuse for modeling lamp and Automatic fuse
The fuse 21 is a fuse for the modeling lamp.
Usually MONO MAX compact flashes come with a fuse 3,15
A quick (3,15 Af) for operation with a modeling lamp 650W
halogen.
Charging of the capacitors and electronics are protected by
the automatic fuse 22.

Overheating

Large series of subsequent flashes may cause overheating
and the compact flash unit may turn off automatically. The
displays for modeling lamp output 11 and flash output 16
show „EE/EE" and an acoustical signal (4xbeep) appears.
After a break of cooling down, the appliance is ready again for
operation.
