- Press button "Steam" (s). Orange pilot light
"Temperature" will come on (fig. 16).
After some time the orange pilot light will go out
(fig. 17). The appliance is now ready for making
steam.

- Fill a milk jug about half full with cold milk.
- You can swing the steam pipe to bring it into
the most suitable position (fig. 18).
- Keep the jug under the steam pipe.
Please note: the air outlet holes of the
accessory should remain under the milk
level (fig. 19).

- Open the steam control by turning anti-clock-
wise (fig. 20). Steam will come out of the steam
pipe, making the milk bubble (fig. 21).

- Stop the steam supply by turning clockwise as
soon as enough froth has been made (fig. 22).
- Then remove the milk jug.
- Do not forget to press button "Steam" (s s )
(fig. 23). The button is now in "up" position.
Important
Now the water in the appliance is extra hot: this
was necessary for making steam.
For Espresso a somewhat lower temperature is
required. Only then your coffee will have a nice
"crema" crest.
- Press button "Coffee" (k). Wait until some
water comes from the water outlet. The boiler
inside the machine will cool down.
- Press button "Coffee" (k) again. The button is
now in "up" position.
Then the appliance is ready for making
Espresso.
- Then place the filter holder with Espresso
coffee into the appliance. (Please refer to
section "Espresso".)
- Add sugar and milk to taste.
- Place one or two teaspoons of froth on the
Espresso. Sprinkle with cocoa powder or
ground cinnamon if liked.
After use

- Switch off by pressing button "On/Off" (I).
- Unscrew the filter holder (fig. 24).
- Move the filter clamp forwards (fig. 25).
