When opening covers or removing parts you may expose live
parts.
Therefore, disconnect the device from all voltage sources before
performing maintenance work or repairs.
Capacitors inside the device may still carry voltage even though
they have been disconnected all voltage sources.
Never replace damaged mains cables yourself. If this is the case
separate the device from the mains and bring it to a specialist
workshop.
Repairs may only be carried out by qualified personnel who are
familiar with the hazards involved and the relevant regulations.
If a change of fuse is necessary, make sure that only fuses of the indicated type and
nominal current intensity (see Technical Specifications) are used as replacement.
Patching up of the fuse or short-circuiting it is not permitted.
• After having separated it from the mains (pull mains plug) carefully screw out the
fuse cap on the fuse holder (2) together with the broken fuse with a suitable screw-
driver.
• Take out the broken fuse and replace it with a fuse of the same type.
• Now carefully screw back the fuse cap with the new fuse into the fuse holder (2).
• Only then reconnect the device with the mains and put it into operation.
Cleaning
Clean the exterior of the amplifier module only with a soft, dry cloth or brush. Never
use aggressive cleansing agents or solvents since this might damage the surface of
the housing or impair operation.
Disposal
When the amplifier module can no longer be used dispose of it in accordance with
current legal regulations.
All repairs other than the ones previously described are only to be
carried out by a specialist.
